Paying Tax, Flying There, Railing On. . .

This is a collection of various travel documents that I have collected over my journeys. So far, there are not many, but there are some interesting things amongst the images. Mostly tax receipts and plane ticket stubs. Also shown, an "entry" stamp on my plane ticket from the Toronto airport.

My Favorite and Saddest Ticket

This ticket was for my journey from Phnom Penh to Bangkok. After spending two weeks in Phnom Penh with SEALNet, I was sad to leave. I would have liked to have stayed longer and to have seen more (I only saw Phnom Penh and Angkor). But, this ticket was the funniest thing I have seen. It was the only ticket that I have ever had handwritten. Beyond that, they also selected a seat for me by looking at a sticker map of the airplane and selecting a sticker. They placed the sticker on my ticket. I think the computers at the airport often fail (they failed that day too), so the way that they can ensure no double-seating is to select from a sheet of stickers with seat numbers.
